KLEIN TOOLS
Founded in 1857, Klein Tools has been a family run business for five generations. Like many American tool manufacturers in the United States during the 19th century, Klein's tool company profited greatly by the country's westward expansion.
Klein's first flagship product was their now famous Klein pliers. But it wasn't long before their inventory grew to include most hand tools, all built under the same desire for quality manufacturing that Mathias Klein founded the company upon.
Fun Fact: The first set of Klein pliers was actually made one half at a time. The first half was to repair an already existing, though, broken pair. But when the rest of the plier broke, Klein replaced the other half, finally completing the first pair of Klein pliers.
